Walking with my friend in Paris..

Today, I saw my friend Nobuko who has a vintage shop in Paris.

We went to a kids items trade show "Play Time" then, Merci

４年ぶりにパリにヴィンテージのお店を持っている友達とパリぶらり歩きをしました。

まず、パリ、NY、東京と各地で開催されるPlay Timeという子供服の展示会へ。。

その後パリでは有名なセレクトショップ　Merci へ。。お土産に、ちょっと変わったパリの地図を購入。

We stopped at a café for restroom then went to Collet

Collet was as 10 years ago Niketown. Too too many people on Monday afternoon.

その後は、トイレ事情がとっても厳しいパリなので、とあるカフェに入って御トイレを借りて、次の目的地 Colletへ。。えええー！！というほどの込み具合で、びっくり。ここは、さささーっと見てすぐ出ました。

This is a oldest famous Detective office.

パリで一番古くて有名な探偵事務所。どんな依頼が多いのでしょうか？

やっぱり浮気調査でしょうか？

I love this mismatch so bad.

ビルからのぞいた観覧車。素敵すぎますでしょう。

I had to call my friend, so we went to Jardin des Tuileries.

その後は、友達に電話をしないといけなかったので、静かに出来そうな公園へ。。

昔良く行った遊園地がまた出てました。友達と絶叫マシーンに乗り、順番を待ってる人を怖がらせる為に、必要以上に悲鳴を上げたのを覚えています。

I do not think I see my friend tonight. Call me Juju.

Then, Raining again. What a I am a rainy woman?

今晩は、友達と会う約束をしていましたが、電話が来ないので家にいます。

どうせ今日も雨が降って来たのでもういいです。私って、雨女だったのでしょうか？

Paris France

I came to Paris. I was waiting for a long time.
I had a plan to come here in January or February, however, I had an accident, so I had to wait..
The flight ticket was super expensive.. but I am so happy to be here.
やっとパリに来れました。１月か２月に来る予定だったのですが、手の健を切ってしまい、来れませんでした。空港券がとびっきり高かったのですが、やっぱり来ちゃってよかった。。。

 

When I went down to the subway… I was almost cried … smell was so nostalgic.

my mind jumped to 1995 when I lived here…

If I move from NY then come back after few years, do I think I feel the same way?

I don't think I feel nostalgic when I smell of pee I mean NY subway.

パリの地下鉄に入った時、匂いで泣きそうになってしまいました。臭いのでは無く意外と匂いに執着する私は、一気に自分がパリに住んでいた時にフラッシュバックして、懐かしさで涙が出そうでした。。。少し、出ました。その後、もしも、NYから引っ越して、しばらく経ってからNYに戻ったとしたら、やっぱり地下鉄の匂いで懐かしいとか思うのかなーと。。でも、NYの地下鉄はおしっこの匂いなので、多分絶対にそれは無いと思います。

One week passed.. Columbus Circle Holiday Market

We are in holiday market at Columbus Circle!!

Everyday hitting cold and cold.. Even I have 2 heaters from the top and bottom,, I am so cold...

Raining craft shows

Last weekend, I had 2 craft shows in the city, However, both Saturday and Sunday were raining.. Especially, Sunday was disaster!!!

Here is Saturday BBC.. Morning was nice, but afternoon...

Sunday was on Bleecker street.. Last year, Juliette Lewis  stopped by my booth..

BUT, this year... I was just sitting on the corner of my booth waiting for customers to come..

I hope next year will be both sunny days!

Then, since I didn't have many sales, I have quite inventory which is good. So, I had a lot of time to make new items.

I have many Japanese kimono obi which I had no idea what I could do with. However, I found out.

Yes, I made triple headband. Voila.

Long time I haven't posted.. I was too busy or too lazy.

As I sell my product at flea markets, craft show,, many of my customer says " too small" "too big" etc..

so I made adjustable wool headband last winter then people love them so much.

I think it's a good idea. no?

Holiday season

Finished Merry Christmas, relaxed on the mountain and my sister in low came from Italy with her BF!
Now just waiting for 2012 to come.

Thinking about this year..
Sales became better than last year but still I was hell to work for 7days a week...
I made 4 of new items.

he will be a famous photographer!! I love her black pet too!

I think narrow scarf is easier to wear??
